Originally a CV-440 VH-BZH for Ansett in 1957. May 1962 N8421H Allegheny Airlines, Converted to CV-580, rr N5829, N583PL and N537SA. September 22nd 1987 OO-DHB DHL (opb EAT). 1995 EC-GBF Swift Air, opf DHL. Convair 580F operated by European Air Transport for DHL in DHL colours, started to fly to Fornebu in May 1989, and this was my first shot of it. Scanned from negative film

K25 slide scan. Built 1957 as CV-440 VH-BZH for Ansett Airlines of Australia. Converted to CV-580 N5829 by Allegheny. Later converted to Freighter and operated by Evergreen, Interstate and Summit Airlines. Aquired by DHL September 1987 as OO-DHB for operation by EAT. Transferred to Swiftair as EC-830/EC-GBF June 1996. Last noted active around 2004 and exported to South Africa as ZS-SKL.

Owned by European Air Transport to operate for DHL, it had not long arrived from the USA ex Summit Airlines (N537SA) and still in their colours and logo.
