VH-DMA was overloaded with sheets of glass and tins of paint when it managed to get airborne from a private airstrip 4 miles south of Katherine after the third attempt . Built in 1934 and registered as G-ADDI. Exported to the U.S. in early 1971 and registered as N34DH. It appears it resided at the museum until 1981 when it was acquired by Mr. Michael Kimbrel of Oakville, WA. He is still the owner and the a/c has a current registration which remains N34DH.

Butler operated from Cootamundra to Charleville to connect with mail flights from the UK. The mail was brought to Cootamundra and put on trains bound for Melbourne. The mail otherwise would have travelled via Brisbane and Sydney.

VH-UVB in the aftermath of a Japanese air raid on January 21, 1942. In March Salamaua and the airstrip were occupied by the Japanese army. The airstrip was won back by Australian troops in September 1943. The airstrip was abandoned after the war. The jungle has reclaimed it but the area is still pock-marked with bomb craters

On display in its original Highland Airways colours. It was delivered to that airline in 1933, and used for the inauguration of their Aberdeen-Orkney service in July 1934 (hence the aircraft's name). After that it saw service with several operators, but always kept the same registration. In Sep 1971 it became part of the Historic Aircraft Museum at Southend. This museum closed and saw its aircraft auctioned off in May 1983, which is where the Science Museum acquired it. In 1993 it was fully refurbished and painted in the historic Highland colours you see here.

Operated from Squires Gate by AN&T between November 1951 and January 1962. Now preserved by the Science Museum at Wroughton airfield, Wiltshire.
