Boeing 727 climbing out of Bogota, shame there was not better light at this time

What an awesome take off!! Almost using all the runway 18 blasting off on its way to Curaçao (TNCC). First time I was able to photograph this one with the new livery, the two times I saw it before it was carrying the 50 years livery of Aerosucre. It's always a pleasure to see these B727s flying!!

Taken a few minutes before the sun sets behind the hills and mountains west of Oslo, N368PA basks what is left of the bleak winter sun at Oslo's Fornebu airport that was closed a little over two years later. As the registration suggests, this 727 started life with Pan Am in 1982 before going to Express One in 1993 and converted to freighter in 1994. Later it served All Canada Express as C-FACN, ending its life with Allied Air Cargo as 5N-BJN.

Parked in a corner of the old civil platform of Kabul International Airport was this Boeing 727 of Freedom Air. The aircraft is named after Nigerian aviation entrepreneur and founder of Kano-based Kabo Air, Muhammadu (Mohd) Adamu Dankabo, who carried the honourary title of Jarman Kano and who passed away in April 2002. In March 2007 Ariana Afghan Airlines took over this aircraft as YA-FAT.
