One of the last Geosurvey Catalina / Cansos operated in Canada, C-FJJG is ex US Navy 48423. It was sold in the USA as N423RS in 1986.

Supplied to the RAF under lend-lease as FK779. Registered to Canadian Pacific Airways on 28 March 1946 then sold to Photographic Survey Co. Ltd. of Toronto and finally as above. Ultimate fate unknown. [Note how in a world prior to the black plastic garbage bag, an old newspaper has been used to blank off the removed hatch or window!]

To the USA as N423RS in Jun 86.

CF-DRJ was used for aerial survey work. It was struck off the register in May 1968 as written off. Details not known.

One of two Kenting DC-4's under contract to Transport Canada for Ice Reconnaissance, with "Canada Department of Transport Meteorological Branch Ice Reconnaissance" titles. Having returned from patrolling Canada's East coast, CF-KAE is pictured undergoing preparation for moving to Iqualuit to patrol the Eastern Arctic from July to (usually) October. The DC-4s were replaced by Lockheed Electras in 1972.

1969 build Islander arriving in Ft. St. John on delivery to North Cariboo Air. Sold by North Cariboo in 1995, it's on the US register as N200MU at the time of uploading.

Procured by the RAF as BW769. Used by Kenting for aerial survey. Now preserved at Gander as "T9422".
