Thousands were produced, and its service time spanned well after the war in France and many other countries. Replica with a tail wheel on display at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum. The Bre. 14 was Louis Breguet's most successful wartime product. The two-seat reconnaissance/light bomber was powered by a 300 hp Renault 12Fe engine. Inducted in 1917, the type equipped at least 71 Service Aéronautique escadrilles at its peak. Production continued after the war that included civilian versions, with an estimated 8,000 built in all. The Royal Siamese Air Service imported eight aircraft from France in 1919, with additional deliveries taking place later. The type was licence built as the B.Th.1.

Only very few of these survive today. One of these is 2016, seen preserved here in Hall 2 of the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace at Le Bourget.

Special long-range Bre 14 with fairing behind observer's head and external fuel tanks from old Breguet Br.M5 aircraft, increasing range to 1000 km. The pilot is Henry Roget with his fox terrier Folette and mechanic Rodes. They made a grand tour through Eastern Europe from 9 June to 8 September 1920. However, 9128 is also said to have belonged to the French military mission in Poland and to have made courier flights to Riga during the Polish-Soviet War (1919-1921).
