1932 and Fokker still rules the airways to Malmö. OY-DED survives in the Aviodrome in Holland as "H-NADP". Second, OO-AIE, a SABCA-built F.VIIb-3m of Sabena. Third, F.VIIb-3m PH-AFR, which briefly served with KLM and went to Air Orient as F-AMFS in December 1932. Fourth, the Fokker F.XII SE-ACZ Värmland, delivered to AB Aerotransport in February 1932 and even fitted with fancy wheel spats. It was based here in Malmö and served on ABA's routes to Amsterdam and Berlin. Flights were scheduled to connect with night trains between Malmö and Stockholm. Photo from: Finnish Aviation Museum

This DC-6B led an illustrious life starting as CF-CZV with CP Air before moving to Scandinavia first with Transair as SE-BDG before going to Braathens SAFE as LN-SUT. Then she went to Greenlandair as OY-DRC. The last stop in Europe was with Air Atlantique as G-SIXB before heading for Southern Africa, first as 3D-ASA, then 3D-ASB with Air Swaziland, then to Interocean as C9-ASR. Later she became ZS-MUL with Avia, 9Q-CJE with Trans Service Airlift. She returned to South Africa as ZS-XXX where she is now a gate guard for Drakensberg Truck Manufacturers as ZS-MUL.

Powered by an engine of only 20 hp, the Daimler L20 did well in the 1925 German Round Flight, crossed the Alps in winter in February 1926 and is seen here making an appearance at an airshow in Malmö. Designer Hans Klemm could still not persuade Daimler to undertake series production, and did it under his own name in 1927. Construction number is unconfirmed. Photo by: Hans Ryberg / Flygvapenmuseum
