Former Saeta HC-BDS. Since 1990 it has been preserved at Hacienda Pastaví, a private residence near Otavalo (Imbabura province). For some time it wore colors similar to the former Iberia livery but with Pastaví titles. Previous registrations include I-DABV.

Delivered to the Ecuadorian National Police (Policía Nacional del Ecuador - Servicio Aeropolicial) on January 17, 2021. Based at Quito's Parque Bicentenario, former Mariscal Sucre International airport (SEQU). Previous registration is PR-HDK. Flew for Helibras.

Abandoned between the hangars of Guayaquil airport. No registration noted on the airplane, but research at the time confirmed the identity as being the ex Aeroshell DC-3 HC-BOT. A few years later only the cockpit section was salvaged and saved as simulator by Shell and preserved at Rio Amazonas by Instituto Tecnologico Superior Aeronautico.

Hard to see from outside the airport perimeter was this CL-44, ex Andes Airlines/Andes Air Cargo. Several years later a Canadian group showed interest to get the airplane back to Canada, but they failed. Soon after that it was removed and placed near a Discotheca in Cuenca, Ecuador.

TAME Embrair 170 arriving at a rainy Quito Airport. This airplane would fill in on our flight to Tulcan and Cali, which had been scheduled to be a Fokker 28..... and 3 hours earlier.

Next to the Latacunga Cotopaxi Intl. Airport you have the ETFA (Escuela Técnica de la Fuerza Aérea) and inside a sports pitch is this T-33. Last time I saw a picture of this airframe it was painted all grey, a little broken down, abandoned and even with some graffiti on it, now it's painted again and even with a new kind of "stand" made with rocks. This was the best shot I could get, because the ETFA is closed due to the current pandemic. Ex - U.S. Air Force (53-5806).

First photo of this beauty in a long time. This ex SAETA Sud Aviation SE.210 Caravelle is located inside the "Hacienda Pastaví" a farm near the city of Otavalo, north of Ecuador. It was bought by the owner of this farm, converted into a private bar and moved to this location in the 1990s and it stays there until today. For some years this aircraft used to have a livery similar to Iberia's old one. Now the livery is a little changed as you can see. Since the owner doesn't allow anybody inside of the hacienda I managed to get this shot behind the wall that surrounds the property. No registration visible.

Registered as N5921K in 1981. To N60DR in 1982, N53MF in 1985, OY-CRM in 1988, N844MA in 1993, HC-BUD in 1995 and N840DR in 2018.

This aircraft reportedly crashed after its military life while being used for drugs trafficking in 1999.
