The first PC-12 for the "Bundeswehr" enters final assembly in hangar Matterhorn

Between 1949 and 1950, Aeronáutica Industrial Sociedad Anónima AISA built a total of 50 SG-38 Schulgleiter gliders under license from the German company Schneider. The SG-38s built at AISA's facilities in Cuatro Vientos were renamed "Planeador Escuela 38" ("school glider 38") and were assigned serial numbers from P-1 to P-50.

First flight 1963, delivered new to Malév June 12th 1963. 1971 was the year MA expanded to come twice a week, on monday afternoon with IL-18, and on friday afternoon with Tu.134A. July 29th 1978 the IL-18 flights were stopped after HA-MOC crashed on final aporach to Kastrup that afternoon. I actually wathed taqht final deprture from Fornebu, and one hour later I saw it had carshed in the sea on the TV news...
