TAN-SAHSA HR-SHU 1990, Viscount Air Service N501AV 1991, Aero Continente OB-1536 1993, Magnicharters XA-STB 1994. Shuffled between the two latter carriers as OB-1670, XA-STB and OB-OB-1729 until 1999, then withdrawn Lima 2003 and subsequently scrapped. Retains Aloha Funbird colours overpainted in blue.

slide scan from the NK collection. - G-APWA, seen here with additional "STYX" stickers, was one of the first Dart Heralds, built in 1959. At the time of upload, this turboprop is on display in the Museum of Berkshire Aviation at Woodley; beautifully restored in old BEA colours, which it carried briefly in the early 60ies.

slide scan from the NK collection. - Good news from Alberta, this Fokker escaped the scrapper! It is displayed as C-GYCR on a private property at Okotoks, ALB, preserved in Canadian Regional colours. Last reported in October 2022.

slide scan from the NK collection. - When Trans International Airlines was renamed into Transamerica Airlines in October 1979, they introduced white belly colours on all three aircraft. N102TV was later sold to Fedex as N302FE; seen retired at Victorville in 2015 and again in 2022.

DHC-3, msn 445, was delivered to Trans Provincial Air Carriers Ltd. in Terrace, BC in Aug. 1964. Changed name to Trans Provincial Airlines after buying two routes from PWA. TPA served forestry, mining, fishing and First National sites on the NW BC coast from bases at the Terrace, the Seal Cove seaplane base in Prince Rupert and Sandspit Airport. In June 1980 it was delivering groceries to an exploration camp on Crescent Inlet, about 55 km S of Sandspit, when the tide started to go out almost grounding the Otter! This inlet is now the northern boundary of the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve.

K25 slide scan. Delivered 1956 as SE-BSR to SAS, Nor Fly LN-KLK 1975. Norsk Metropolitan Klubb 1984 as flying monument, donated to Flyhistorisk Museum Stavanger 1991 and put on static display. Image shows cleverly designed front door and integrated airstairs giving weather protection to boarding passengers. Other noteworthy details are the Convair eagle logo on tail top and fire extinguisher on standby, standard in piston engine days.
