I'm not sure if this executive Convair was still flyable at this stage; it wasn't cancelled from the US Register until August 2012.

Built in 1977 for Alaska International Air and after Markair it flew with Southern Air Transport as N909SJ and Lynden Air Cargo as N404LC. The high step ladder under the wing could indicate a stop to investigate an engine problem.

This Hercules was still owned by the RAAF but unregistered at this time. It later took up registration N216CR. After seeing little use in the intervening years, it was eventually scrapped at Alverca, Portugal in 1998.

Previous marks include Bureau number 84029 (Navy designation P2B-1S) and USAF serial 45-21787. The mission markings denote test flights carrying the Douglas D-558-II Skyrocket research aircraft. This aircraft was later sold to the Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight museum in Polk City, Florida. However only its forward fuselage is on display there, with the remainder of the airframe reportedly stored in Ocotillo Wells, CA.

This Trojan is now preserved at the USS Hornet Air and Sea Museum at Alameda, California, not far from Oakland.
