"... and kill... Super Sabres", 76-0113 was delivered to the USAF on 24 April 1978. Following assignments to the 49th TFW ('HO'), 1st TFW ('FF'), this 48th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Langley AFB (VA), again the 49th TFW and the 154th Wing ('HH), the Eagle was assigned to the 159th FW ('JZ'). It was moved to the 309th AMARG on 24 Sep'08 and received inventory code FH0196. The 48th FIS 'Taz Langlian Devils" received the first F-15A/B's on 14 Aug'81 replacing the F-106 Delta Dart. The squadron was deactivated on 30 Sep'91. Here, 0113 took part in a small-scale live-firing exercise at Tyndall

This Eagle was built was TF-15A and delivered to the USAF in 1976. It flew with several units (1st TFW with tailcode FF and 58th TFTW/LA) before is was redesignated to F-15B. It was then transferred to the 57th TTW that became 57th FWW/WA before it was assigned to the 48th FIS at Langley AFB (VA) from late 1982. The Eagle arrived at Tyndall by late 1984 and received tailcode TY within 2nd TFTS of the 325th TTW. From April 1992 the F-15B flew with the 2nd TFS of 325th FW. Its career ended at AMARC, it arrived on 26 March 1993, got inventory code FH0056. The dual seater was scrapped on 4 Feb'09.

The Eagle was then transferred to the 33rd FW at Eglin AFB (FL) in 1992 and became an instructional airframe up to the late nineties. From November 2011, the Eagle is preserved at Eglin.
