This former Nok Air DHC-8-400, VP-CGE was flown from Roswell, NM to Lake Simcoe Regional Airport (CYLK) north of Toronto, Ontario on May 1, 2024 after being stored in Roswell since July 2023. It was photographed outside the Smart Aviation Maintenance Solutions (AMS) maintenance hangar.

Hawaii Mars was photographed on the grass outside the British Columbia Aviation Museum on August 31, 2024. The aircraft landed on the ocean at Patricia Bay on August 11 and was later hauled up the wartime RCAF seaplane ramp Patricia Bay and towed across Victoria International Airport to the museum over the following week. The Mars is now parked next to two other aerial fire fighting aircraft in the BCAM collection: Conair Convair 580 C-FHKF (Tanker No. 55) and Douglas A-26 C-FBMS (Tanker No. 22). The museum says that additional firefighting aircraft will be added to its collection.

This Grumman E-2D Hawkeye, 169084, from Airborne Command & Control Squadron 124 "Bear Aces" (VAW-124) based at NAS Norfolk, VA was on static display at Airshow London 2024. The aircraft is assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and the carrier's name painted on the rear fuselage.

This new Airbus H125 (AS 350B3e) was first registered to Airbus Helicopters Canada on March 28, 2024 and then to Hydro One Networks Inc. on September 5, 2024 -- five days before this photo was taken. Canada's oldest corporate helicopter operator, Hydro One operates 12 AS 350 Ecureuil, models, including three AS 350B-2 delivered in 2003-2004, and nine AS 350B-3s delivered between 2007 and 2024, including four received in 2023-2024. The helicopters are used to main Ontario's electricity grid. The main helicopter base is Lake Simcoe Regional Airport with several other bases in northern Ontario.

This ATR 72-202 freighter was photographed in storage at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport. It first arrived at CYLS on Dec. 14, 2023 as N256PM on a ferry flight from Europe. Then registered on May 16, 2024 as C-FEYU to World Wide Aircraft Ferrying Ltd. which holds contracts with several leasing companies. It was originally delivered in Oct. 1991 to NFD - Nürnberger Flugdienst as D-ANFD and later owned by Eurowings and Lufthansa. It was acquired by FedEx, converted to a freighter, and leased to Empire Airlines as N817FX in July 2005. It flew in Europe for FedEx from 2007 to late 2023 as EI-FXK.

In 2005, KF Aerospace was awarded the Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) Services contract to support pilot training for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). CFTS operates four fleets of training aircraft including the Grob G-120A for Phase I (ab-initio) primary trainer. In May 2024, SkyAlyne (a partnership of KF Aerospace and CAE) was successfully awarded the contract for the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program in May 2024. Under the new contract the Grob G-120A fleet will be replaced by 23 new Grob G 120TP turboprops.

Extra EA-300LC, N26AM, flown by Canadian aerobatic pilot Pete McLeod at Airshow London 2024.McLeod's first competitive flight was in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship in 2009.

The Harbour Air seaplane base (YWS / CAE5) on Green Lake near the resort town of Whistler is one of the most scenic points served by North America's largest all-seaplane airline. Scheduled and charter air services were operated by Whistler Air for many years until the airline and its single DHC-3T Turbo Otter (C-GEND) were purchased by Harbour Air in May 2012 (two years after Harbour Air acquired competitor West Coast Air). The floatplane base is next door to the Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler which has a parking lot and terrific outdoor dinning patio.

During the summer, Harbour Air operates up to three round trip flights between Vancouver Harbour and Vancouver Airport and the Green Lake seaplane base serving the resort municipality of Whistler in the Coast Range mountains. In addition, the airline operates regular sightseeing flights from the lake around the local area. DHC-3 Otter CF-ITF was delivered new to Wardair in Feb. 1956 and flew with the airline until 1971. It then flew with several airlines on floats in Ontario and Quebec until sold to BC, converted to PT6 turbine in 2000 and sold to Harbour Air in 2001.

This AS 350B-2 was originally imported to Canada in 1980 as an AS 350D AStar powered by the Lycoming LTS101 and later converted to an Arriel 1B turboshaft and upgraded to wider chord AS355 rotor blades, and then further upgraded to an AS 350B-2. In 1986-1987 it was one of three AStars operated by Ranger Helicopters on the Air Canada helicopter service flying passengers between Toronto International Airport (YYZ) and the Cherry Street heliport near Toronto Harbour. Ranger became part of Maple Leaf Helicopters which was acquired by CHC subsidiary Canadian Helicopters in the late 1980s.

This former Kenmore Air DHC-3T Otter, N708KA, was delivered to Key West Seaplane Adventures on March 18, 2023 and was photographed at Key West International Airport on May 13, 2023 with Kenmore Air titles still visible on rear fuselage. The aircraft was originally delivered to the RCAF in Dec. 1954 as 3692. Following retirement in 1980, its as exported to the USA in January 1983 as N2634Y and flew in the US until 2001 when it returned to Canada as C-GIWQ. This DHC-3T Turbo Otter was originally delivered to Stanolind Oil & Gas Company of Fort Nelson, BC. in March 1960 as CF-NFI. It mostly operated in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario for the next 54 years until converted to turbine in about 2010. DHC-3T Otter N435B was one of three DHC-3T Turbo Otters flying for Key West Seaplane Adventures in May 2023. The aircraft mostly fly tourists between Key West Airport and Fort Jefferson and Dry Tortugas, 70 miles to the west. Otter msn 183 was delivered to the RCAF in Dec. 1956 as 3743 and served with 115 Air Transport Unit, a UN support unit based in Egypt between about 1955 and 1961. This DHC-6 Twin Otter was original delivered to the U.S. Army - Alaska Air National Guard as a UV-18 in May 1980 and was based at Fort Richardson outside Anchorage where it initially operate alongside Sikorsky CH-54s. It was later assigned to the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team and then in 2019 re-assigned to the US Navy Research Lab at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, MD which operates Scientific Development Squadron (VXS) 1 equipped with this Twin Otter, a NP-3C Orion and a Beechcraft RC-12M King Air.

This Héli Mistral Service Airbus AS350B-2 was photographed taking off from the Mirabel Helico Heliport (CMH4) located immediately north of the Bell factory in Mirabel, Quebec. This Ecureuil was originally built as an AS 350BA and later upgraded to a AS 350B-2. It was originally delivered to Heli-Max in 1991 and has been operated by at least 10 different Canadian helicopter charter companies including Black Tusk Helicopters before joining Héli Mistral in July 2022 which operates 8 rotorcraft (2 R-44, 2 x 206B JetRanger; 3 x AS 350BA/B-2; one EC135P2)

DHC-2 Beaver CF-JBP was delivered new to B.C. Yukon Air Service Ltd. in Watson Lake, Yukon on June 21, 1956 and has spent its entire career flying with airlines in the Yukon and British Columbia operating on floats. During this period it was substantial damaged in accidents in 1964 and 1988 and rebuilt. It was owned by Harbour Air and flying in Whistler Air colours when photographed in 2022. It was photographed from the dyke beside River Road in Richmond which on the south side of the Fraser River opposite the YVR seaplane base.

This 2006 Model Bell 407 now owned by Bell Textron was visiting the Bell factory in Mirabel, Quebec. According to Rotorspot.nl, the aircraft was delivered new as N37EA and later carried the registrations TG-CCA, TG-OCA, N799BH and N17DF before being registered N17DE.

This new Bell 407GXi, msn 56400 was seen in primer on the apron at the Bell helicopter factory in Mirabel, Quebec. Bell customers have the option of taking delivery of their new helicopters at Mirabel or at Bell facilities in Hurst, Texas or Piney Flats, TN.

This new Bell 407GXi on popout floats was in the Bell helicopter delivery center at Mirabel, Quebec during a factory tour by visiting members of the Vertical Flight Society. The flight test registration C-FZFX has been used at least 14 different times on new Bell 407s, 429s and 505s produced at the Canadian factory. The 6,000th Canadian-made Bell helicopter will be delivered sometime in 2024.
