Ex ZK-FRE, N4363, USAAF 42-9733. Rebuilt to airworthy condition between 1988 and 1992 in New Zealand but badly damaged in a forced landing on 26th October 1997. The wreck was acquired by Vintage Warbirds Museum, Louisville (USA) and it was rebuilt in New Zealand where it flew again on 7th April 2000, and shipped back to the USA later that year.

American Aero Services finished up the conversion into a two seater.

This aircraft experienced a gear collapse and subsequent runway excursion on landing at NSB Airport on October 29, 2014 and sustained substantial damage. American Aero Services undertook the rebuild of the aircraft.

In all the Brazilian Air Force operated 89 Curtiss P-40s of various marks from 1942 onwards, only leaving active service in 1954 when FAB entered the jet age with the Gloster Meteor. The badge on this one reads "I'll answer you bye".

Moved to Jefferson City, Missouri, on 29 September 2000 for restoration. By 2015 it had moved to Auckland, New Zealand and became ZK-MOM on 14 May 2021, then F-AYKH, and OO-WHK on 26 April 2024. It made its first post-restoration flight on 12 May 2024 at Antwerp International Airport during the 2024 Stampe Fly-in.

Taxiing out to display at Duxford Autumn Airshow 2013. This Warhawk survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour on 7 Dec 1941 as it was in the hangar for repairs after a ground loop. On 24 Jan 1942 it crashed on Oahu, killing the pilot. In 1989 the wreck was fully recovered and underwent restoration. It carries the markings of White 284 of the 6th PS, 18th PG based at Wheeler Field. The carburetor air intake is mounted between two 0.50 cal MGs, changed from intakes in the XP-40 oversized gun fairings. The coolant and oil radiator scoop is smaller and set further aft compared to later models.
