Started to fly as N945F from 4 Feb'89 with Evergreen International Airlines. It was then assigned Unifly Express from 18 Ap'89, but never delivered. The nine soldiered on with Evergreen up to Sep'89. It registration was cancelled by 4 May'15, but looking at this picture, it was already withdrawn from use years earlier. The Northwest DC-9-32 (c/n 47175/298) in the right below corner was delivered to American International Airways on 3 Jun'83. It also flew for Marfreless Inc. from Nov'84, then to Republic Airlines on 16 Jul'85 and eventually Northwest Airlines from 1 Oct'86. Canx 4 Aug'08.

This oldy was always TF-ARO, first with Saudia - Saudi Arabian Airlines from January 2004, then Air Atlanta Icelandic from 11 March 2004, the Garuda Indonesian Airways from 19 December 2004, again Air Atlanta Icelandic from 25 February 2005, then Air Algérie from July 2005 and in the same month again Air Atlanta Icelandic, the again Garuda Indonesian Airways from December 2005. Last owner again Air Atlanta Icelandic from February 2006. In October 2007 it had the best time, looking at this picture.

On 16 December 1983, this queen of the sky became N221GE with Swissair. Became HB-IGE with the same airline on 10 September 1992. To ZS-SKB with South African Airways on 13 November 2000. Moved to US Bank Trustee as N747GT on 10 September 2003.

A February 1981 delivered 747. First known as N8280V with Boeing, then delivered to British Airtours as G-BDXL on 9 February 1984. Moved to British Airways on 31 Oxctober 1984 and was withdrawn from use on 30 October 2001. Became TF-ARF with Air Atlanta Icelandic in October 2002. Sold to Garuda Indonesian Airways in January 2003. Returned to Air Atlanta Icelandic in March 2003. Was broken-up at Marana from 2007.

This 1971 giant was first delivered to Alitalia as I-DEMU on 7 May 1971, became N358AS with Boeing on 19 November 1981, then as such on 1 August 1983 with ONA - Overseas National Airways, the on 1 December 1983 with National Airlines and back to Boeing on 25 February 1985. Became B-2440 with CAAC on 20 May 1985, then N747BL with Boeing from 18 December 1985. Became G-VGIN on 31 January 1986 with Virgin Atlantic Airways. Was withdrawn on 1 October 2001 with TT 10,6793 hrs and - 19,141cc. Became 5N-EEE with Kabo Air on 28 October 2001 and is seen here at Marana, missing some parts.

Former N1784B with Boeing in February 1983, ex HB-IGD with Swissair from 5 March 1983, then with same registration with Dartmore Associates from 25 August 1999. To First Securities Bank on 1 September 1999 as N705BC. Here being scrapped at Marana.

This aircraft was delivered to the USAAF in August 1944 as 43-16369

Former USAF 51-5303, which explains part of the registration. THe Albatross is currently known as US Navy 137922 in the warbird and airshow circuit.

Delivered to the USAAF as C-54D 42-72487 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 56489 in 1945. Redesignated as a C-54S in 1962. Stored at MASDC with inventory code 3C064 in 1970. Sold as N96451 in 1974. To Central Air Service in 1980 and converted to a fire bomber then to Maricopa Aircraft Service in 1991 and stored at Avra Valley/Marana Regional from 1993. Still there in 2022.

SCFA planned to restore the Connie and bring it to Switzerland to fly passengers on the European airshow circuit. The former USAF (54-4062, MASDC CK209, arr 31 May'78, dep 15 Oct'85) and Aerochago airplane was ferried from Santo Domingo to Avra Valley (AZ), where it arrived 7 Jan'01. Restoration was well underway in Aug'02 when the SCFA suspended efforts due to the FAA's decision not to issue a standard airworthiness certificate as the result of 9/11. The aircraft was stripped of useful parts by SCFA, and later HARS, before being disassembled

Delivered to the USAAF as C-54B 44-9008 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-2Z 90392 in 1944. Redesignated as a VC-54P in 1962. Stored at MASDC with inventory code 3C034 on 18 May 1967. Sold as N67040 in 1975. To Central Air Service in 1976 and converted to a firebomber. Stored at Marana Regional-Avra Valley from 1994. To Maricopa Aircraft in 2000. Cancelled from the reguster in 2018. Still there in 2022.

Built 1948 as 48-610, presidential aircraft "Columbine II" from 1952 to 1954, retired to MASDC 1968. Christler Flying Service 1970, remained in adjacent scrapyard for spares use. Slowly restored from 1984 by Mel Christler, flown out 1990. Stored Santa Fe, NM 1991. Flown to Avra Valley 2003. Acquired by Dynamic Aviation 2015 and flown to Bridgewater, VA 2016 for restoration. Registered N8610 2020.

Delivered to the USAAF as C-54D 43-17244 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 56543 in 1945. Redesignated as a C-54Q in 1962. Stored at MASDC with inventory code 3C116 in 1973. To TANA as HK-1807 in 1974 then to Aerolineas Medellin in 1979 and Aerovias del Llano in 1983. To Central Air Service as N6816D in 1984 and converted to a firebomber. Stored at Marana Regional by 1994. Still there in 2022.

The C-54D in the back ground was delivered to the USAAF as C-54D 43-17252 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-3 56548 in 1945. Redesignated as a C-54Q in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with inventory code 3C020 on 11 March 1966. It left AMARC on 29 January 1975 for Central Air Service and became N67034. it was converted to a firebomber, but stored at Marana Regional-Avra Valley from 1993. To Maricopa Aircraft in 2000. Cancelled from the reguster in 2018. Still at Avra Valley in 2022.

Former US Navy BuNo 147948 was retired to MASDC on 11 October 1975 and struck of charge in 1978. The Neptune was civilianized as N80232 for Central Air Service 1989, apparently never used and stored at Avra Valley. It's registration was cancelled 2018, but the airframe was still present in 2022.
