Constructed as a FG-1D in 1945 by Goodyear with BuNo 92106. Sold by disposals at NAS Spokane, WA in May 1958. Displayed at Berryman Park, Bridgeport, WA until 1973 when it was moved to Chino for David Tallichet and registered N6897. Painted to represent an aircraft form VMF-214, Blacksheep squadron. Registration cancelled in Apr 1989. Completely restored between 1990 and 2003 and registered N106FG. To Canada as C-GVWC on 02 Jun 2008. Crashed on 03 Jul 2019, pilot injured. Remains put up for sale for a complete restoration in Aug 2022. Bought and registered back to N106FG on 23 Mar 2023.
