Delivered to the USAAF as 41-107446 in 1944. To Argentina as LV-XGL then to the Air Force as T-45 in 1947. Withdrawn from use in 1966 and scrapped in 1968. Nose section preserved. To the Museo Nacional de Aeronáutica at Aeroparque by 2000. Moved to Moron with the Museum collection in 2001.

US Air Force C-54A 42-72284 flew post war as N90444 with American Airlines , US Overseas Airlines, Flying Tiger Line and Mercer Enterprises. The aircraft came to Canada in 1969 (CF-GNI) with Great Northern Airways and later Eldorado Aviation. Pictured with Aero Trades Western (1980 - 83), it moved to Soundair before flying with Air North after 1988. On August 14, 1996 leaving Bronson Creek, BC an engine caught fire that spread to the wing and the aircraft crashed in the Iskut River, the three crew escaping the wreckage. Unfortunately the captain went missing and was presumed drowned.

Visited Southend 2nd-5th April 1978, reportedly operated by Globe Air.

Used as a club house. Remnants of the "Trans Atlantic Airlines" titles becoming barely visible.

Photographer not known. EI-ANJ was delivered to Aer Lingus on 24 April 1964, being the third and last Carvair acquired by the airline. Its time in service was quite short and it was retired from use in September 1966. In 1968 it was bought by Eastern Provincial as CF-EPW but this too proved not to be a long-term prospect. In 1973 it returned to Europe and became LN-NAA of Norwegian Oversea Airways and later Rørosfly. By 1975 it ended up in Bangkok and may have operated some Red Cross flights from there. It was scrapped in situ in the late 1980s.

Registered G-ASHZ -6 May 1963. Depicted here after having been withdrawn from service by BAF, for whom it flew its last revenue flight on 24 December 1978 with a cargo of newspapers to Paris CDG. It subsequently went into the BAF hangar in May 1979 and emerged as N89FA, departing as such to its new base in Texas on -3 June 1979. Cancelled from the UK register 14 May 1979 as Sold in the USA.

Allocated to USAAF as 44-9137 but instead delivered to US Navy as 90407. Paint scheme very faded, but 90407 and "US Navy" still visible on the tail.

Ex USAF 44-9063, Pan Am, Swissair and Balair and Aer Turas. Operated for the Red Cross as LN-TUR. Became N88887 and EL-AJP and surprisingly returned to Europe in 1987. Last flight ZRH-FRA 28 September 1989 and now on display at the Berlin Airlift Memorial at Frankfurt Rhein-Main. Photographer not known.

Ex 43-17192, this early civil Skymaster was NX90423 for a while and is seen flying near Floyd Bennett Field here, with the bridge to the Rockaway Peninsula at the top of the photo. After USAAF service as 45-627 this aircraft was leased to Pan American as N88945 "Clipper Gladiator" in April 1947 serving until February 1954 when it was returned to the USAF. Retired from service in February 1973 it was stored at MASDC Tucson until civilianised as N88945 in early 1981, becoming N811E with Globe Air the following year. When Globe Air closed in 1985 it was stored until acquired by Brooks Air Fuel in June 1991 and converted as a fuel tanker, sadly it was written off on 8th October 1993 when it veered off the runway landing at Point Lay, AK., with a cargo of unleaded auto fuel.
