Built in 1971 as CF-NAP for Nordair with the gravel runway kit as shown here. It kept the same registration until exported as N2409N in 2003. Here the freight is being switched to another aircraft out of frame after it broke down on an over-night cargo run. Partial titles are visible on the open cargo door.

Canada 3000 got into the big league when they acquired three Airbus A330s in 1997, only to fall victim in an over-capacity induced price war with Westjet and Jetsgo. The A330s were owned by ILFC and this one next went to Volare Airlines then ended up being scrapped post-2013 after repossession from Batavia Air.

Sitting it out on a crisp prairie winter day. Not much moves on days like this as the arctic temperatures are too hard on man and machine. Built in 1947 and C of R cancelled in 2006 for unknown reason. The final owner was a mechanic who died in 2014 so it is probably sitting in barn somewhere waiting to be found.

Most of the freighter Convairs and Boeings I've uploaded were only at CYWG in the middle of the night, when the apron was alive with activity and floodlights. The exception was when they broke down so were still there next morning for me to catch. The give-away is a service vehicle parked nearby. What I used to call The Konk-out Truck.

Built in 1981 for Air Virginia as N749AV. To facilitate the US sale, several modifications were made in compliance with FAR Part 25, hence the 'FAA' suffix to the version. Later operated by SATA Air Açores as CS-TAQ and here still in basic livery. At this time Calm Air was a Canadian Airlines partner and so adopted their tail markings. Cancelled in 2018 having previously been scrapped.
