When the old airport closed in 2004, the airfames were moved to a site at the new airport, still visible on satellite images 2023.

This Mongol-B was TOC with the NVA around 1969. It was allocated the German AF serial 2410 after re-unification but is now preserved at EDOV.

An-2R, 246, awaits for a spot of maintenance in Lithuania before heading back to the Latvian Border guard. This aircraft was later transferred to the Latvian Air Force.

This Su-25 was delivered to the Bulgarski Voenno Vzdushni Sili (BVVS, Bulgarian Air Force) on 31 August 1987 and assigned to the 22 Shturmova Aviacionna Basa (22.ShtAB), 1/22 Shturmova Avio Eskadrila at Bezmer air base. The aircraft was pictured from a mountain top and showed its capabilities. The Su-25 was overhauled by the 558th Aviation Repair plant, Baronovichi in Belarus from October 2019 and returend to Bezmer in a digital colourscheme in September 2020 and is currently (November 2022) one of the handful still operational Su-25s of the BVVS.

slide from the NK collection. - The Turkish Air Force took over all three remaining Viscounts from THY in 1971/72. This example here started as TC-SEC in 1958, and was withdrawn from military service in 1981. It was probably broken up at Etimesgut after many years of storage.
