Ex 42-92796 this C-47A was delivered on 1 March 1944, it served in Australia until it was transferred to the Koninklijke Nederlandsch-Indische Luchtvaart Maatschappij (Royal Dutch East Indies Airline) as PK-REQ and on to the Indonesian air force (TNI-AU) as T-463. Its construction number plate was checked here at Purbalingga, which is a small Indonesian air force airfield, more recently also opened to civil aviation. This Dakota can be found near the barracks and sportfield on the north side of this airfield in Mid-Java.

Displayed in the park since 1983, initially in the markings and serial (N2-23) it wore when it retired from the Australian Navy. Later repainted in RAAF (ARDU) markings and kangaroo roundels but without a serial. While it was in RAAF service , it was never with ARDU and never wore kangaroo roundels in RAAF service. Removed from the park in 2024 for restoration and repainting. The markings chosen were those it wore when transferred from the RAAF to the RAN in 1950. It retained its RAAF serial for a short period and that is what was applied during the restoration.

A new Dakota for the database! C-47A 42-24049 was moved 650m to the West from the Roslagen Hotel in Norrtälje to a new location in the same city at a shopping mall at the E18/77 intersection. It is preserved in SAS colours. It was previously used as a restaurant and went to Sweden for spares recovery with Skandinaviska Aero AV on 23 August 1946.
