On display on the flight deck of CV-10 USS Yorktown at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. Normally two fixed wing ASW squadrons were embarked on a CVS, with requirements subsequently changing for the CVA and CV. This S-2E belongs to VS-23 "Black Cats" which did three Vietnam deployments aboard USS Yorktown. Along with VS-25 "Golden Eagles" also flying the Tracker, the two fixed wing ASW units with tail code 'NU' flew under CVSG-55 that was operational till 27 Sep 1968. The 70 million candlepower searchlight is visible on the starboard wing. This variant had 16 JEZEBEL sonobuoys / nacelle.

Delivered in 1964 and served VS-28, VS-24, VS-34 and lastly VS-73, NAF Detroit. Ferried to the museum in 1975 and like several of the externally stored aircraft has been a victim of hurricane damage over the years

This S-2E was delivered aboard HMAS Melbourne in November 1967. It was among several damaged in hangar arson attack at Nowra but was not repaired for operation, instead being used as training airframe and later displayed outside the FAA Museum. After storage and maintenance work there it was flown to HARS at Albion Park in September 2019 where it is kept in flyable condition alongside S-2G N12-152333. S-2G N12-152812 is their third Tracker, also under long term return to airworthiness.

Former US Navy 153560. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1976. Left in 1983 and refurbished by Grumman at St. Augustine for the Peru Navy as AA-545. Preserved outside Lima Airport from 2010. Gone by 2023. Scrapped.

Former US Navy BuAer 153565. Purchased by the Argentinean Navy on March 1977, added to the Anti-submarine aeronaval squadron at the Comandante Espora naval base. Converted to S-2T in 1993.

149889 belonged to VS-73 "Blue Bandits" based at NAS Roosevelt Roads, PR and arrived for storage on 06 Jan 1975 with inventory number 1S491. Also in picture is S-2E 151658 / NW-204 c/n 191C of VS-82 "Fighting Yellow Tails" which arrived for storage on 29 Apr 1975. These aircraft have been removed from storage and are being prepared for delivery to the Chinese Nationalist Navy. 149889 departed on 05 Dec 1978 and 151658 on 22 Dec 1978.

International Air Tattoo 1977. 816 Squadron. This aircraft is from the aircraft carrier HMAS Melbourne. Delivered to the RAN on 22 Nov 1967. WFU 12 Aug 1984. Believed still stored at West Sale in 2023.
