On display on the deck of museum ship CV-10 USS Yorktown. Derived from the A3D Skywarrior designed to operate from supercarriers as a nuclear bomber, the seven-seat EA-3B was the electronic recce and ECM variant. A crew of four operated the long Q-Band sideways looking ventral radar. The type entered service in Apr 1960 and was still flying during Op Desert Storm, standing down in 1991. This EA-3B served with VQ-1 "World Watchers" at NAS Agana, was embarked on CNV-70 USS Carl Vinson and went to VQ-2 "Sandeman" at NAVSTA Rota. It was saved for preservation by many donors and volunteers.

The unit moved from the F-8 Crusader to the F-4 in 1966. Deployed aboard CVA-66 USS America, it arrived on Yankee Station on 13 Jul 1972. On 11 Sep 1972 Maj. Lee T. Lasseter and RIO Capt. J. Cummings shot down a MiG-21 near Hanoi but were hit by a SA-2, forcing the crew to eject over the sea. It was the only all-Marine kill during the Vietnam War. VMFA-333 was the last regular USMC unit to operate the Phantom.

The original '66' of HS-4 was the primary recovery helicopter for Apollo 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13. It was lost at sea off NALF Imperial Beach in 1975. Commissioned in 1952, HS-4 "Black Knights" became the first ASW helicopter squadron to deploy aboard an aircraft carrier. During a single deployment in SEA in 1966, it set a record of rescuing 24 downed airmen. HS-4 pioneered SAR techniques for the Apollo capsule recoveries.

BuNo 159291 A-7E is painted as BuNo 153176 in the colors of VA-147 "Argonauts," first unit to fly the A-7A light attack jet into combat over Vietnam in Dec 1967 as part of CVW-2 embarked on CVA-61 USS Ranger. It carries the name of Cdr G. Kinnear, who flew more types of jet aircraft in combat than any other naval aviator.

The squadron traces its lineage to VMSB-142, activated in 1942 on the SBD Dauntless. During World War II, VMSB-142 participated in the Guadalcanal and Philippines campaigns. Deactivated after the war, the squadron was reactivated in Florida as VMF-142, then VMA-142 on different versions of the Skyhawk and finally as VMFA-142 in Dec 1990. It stood down in July 2008.

Painted as "Ruptured Duck" inside the hangar of CV-10 USS Yorktown. The original B-25B was flown by Lt TW Lawson, D Davenport, CL McClure, RS Clever and Sgt DJ Thatcher under Bay Bridge on their arrival at San Francisco. Launching as Plane 7 from CV-8 USS Hornet on 18 Apr 42 on the daring Doolitle Raid, they mistakenly flew off the carrier without using flaps. After successfully bombing Tokyo, the crew were badly injured when the bomber flipped over on a wave when attempting to land on a Chinese island.
