Built in 1946 as RL981 and registered as G-AKRS in January 1948. Registered to Airwork at Croydon from April 1953 to May 1960. To Israel in 1978 and initially flown with the Air Force historical flight as 4X-970. Displayed in the Air Force Museum at Hatzerim as 002/VQ-PAR since 1984

Seen at what was then Nairobi's Eastleigh Airport. Airwork's Vikings flew numerous passenger and government charters to points in Africa as well as the Middle and Far East in the late 1940s and early 1950s. From 1952 a scheduled service was established from Blackbushe to Nairobi routing via Malta, Benghazi, Wadi Halfa, Khartoum, Juba and Entebee a 3 day journey at a cost of £98! Formerly EI-ADI with Aer Lingus, the aircraft was allocated WZ356 for trooping flights whilst with Airwork and sold by them to Air Safaris in April 1960. WFU and broken up at Hurn in 1962.

First registered in 1946. By this date it was registered to Airwork of Piccadilly, London and here getting some maintenance at the Perth training base. Later it moved on to the Rapid Flying Group at Coventry and was cancelled as withdrawn on 10 May 1965.

Built in 1959 for Airwork which was merged into BUA in January 1960. Exported to Arkia Israeli Airlines as 4X-AVF in 1973. Had been scrapped at Tuscon (KTUS) by 1993.

Leased from Slick Airways during operation of a relatively short-lived freight scheduled service from Heathrow and Manchester to the USA. The aircraft was owned by Slick from 12.51 until 06.58. Later to Portugal AF as 6704 and N2296B.

Modified at Langley in 1949 for radar research flights over the North Sea. Afterwards returned to the RAF as RP468.

Built in 1948. Served Airwork, mainly on trooping flights, from March 1953 until being damaged beyond repair on take-off at Dum Dum, Calcutta 01.09.57 after colliding with DC-3 VT-AUA.

During 1955 Airwork Ltd of London operated a transatlantic freight schedule from Heathrow via Manchester to Idlewild (JFK) using chartered aircraft. N5288N wears the company titles but the initials of the owner (Transocean Airlines Oakland Airfield) on the fin band when arriving at Ringway on a westbound run.

Ex USAAF 42-72210 and LV-ABR FAMA. Owned by Transocean from 1948 until 1956. Leased to Airwork March to December 1955 for a transatlantic freight schedule FRA-LHR-MAN-NY Idlewild. Featured in John Wayne Film 'The High and the Mighty' (1954). Reported to have crashed into the Pacific in 1964. All souls lost & wreckage never recovered. TALOA means "Transocean Air Lines Oakland Airfield".

Operating a scheduled cargo service from Heathrow via Ringway to the USA. Wears Slicks colours with the temporary titles of Airwork Limited.

Delivered to Slick on 4 March 1953. Leased to Airwork Ltd (UK) during 1955 for freight schedules from Heathrow and Ringway to the USA. It still wears Slick's colours. Sold to Hawaiian Airlines in January 1958.

Airwork Limited operated this 1947-built Viking 1B between 10.54 and 02.58.

Built by Vickers at Blackpool in Summer 1945 as a B.X bomber RP468. Modified at Langley in 1949 with experimental radar equipment for tests and called at Ringway en route to flights along the Norwegian coast. Reverted to RP468 in October 1949.
