First flight at Renton 5th March 1968, and del. to American Flyers Airline as N12826 April 1st 1968. In May 1971 Icelnadair TF-FIA named "Solfaxi", as their 2nd B727-100QC. in 1976 TF-FIA was repainted to the new Flugfelag Islands livery. October 1979 the new Icelandair ("Flugleidir") was after the merger between Flugfelag Islands and Loftleidir, and rr to TF-FLG. In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.

May 15th 1986 LN-PAA for PartnAir, as the 3rd CV-580 in the fleet. Written off in a terrible accident September 8th 1989 in Skagerak, the aircraft had been leased by a Norwegian shipping company: Wilhelmsen for a trip to Hamburg, and all people aboard were killed in the accident.
