On lease from Iberia from 1970 to 1977, this Metropolitan was initially delivered as PP-AQB to Brazilian REAL Aerovias 22 March 1957 who merged into VARIG. Acquired by Iberia in 22 April 1962. I was later N809TA, XA-JIR and XA- JYP (Interestatal de Aviación). Later known owner was Fri Reyes in April 1984 as CP-1916.

Delivered 26 April 1960 to Eastern as N8606 who sold it to Air Spain in june 1972. The US airline repossessed it in march 1976. Ended up in Marana.

F6F-3 BuNo 25910 was delivered new to VF-38 in July 1943. The squadron saw combat in the Solomon Islands in 1943 & 44 while being land based. After returning to the U.S. in 1944, 25910 was stationed at NAS San Diego and NAS Jacksonville. It was assigned to the Carrier Qualification Training Unit at NAS Glenview, IL. in December 1944. On 5 January 1945 while operating aboard USS Sable, 25910 went overboard after a landing, with the pilot recovered uninjured. The a/c was retrieved from the lake in November 2009, restored at the museum, and put on display in December 2013.

The spy plane made its last flight on 19 March 1990 and was handed over to NASA at Dryden (CA). Became N832NA but returned to the at Beale AFB (CA) USAF after an overhaul at Palmdale on 30 June 1995. Never retire a Blackbird! After its second operational life, it again was handed over to NASA on 14 October 1999. was stored at Edwards AFB (CA) and eventually dismanteled at Dryden. Moved to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum at McMinnville (OR) for preservation since May 2003.

1952-built D-EORB was sold as F-HUPY in 2015 and was seen as such in 2021.
