The mid-80s were turbulent years for airlines, especially in Canada. Quebecair replaced it's BAC 111s with 737s for domestic flights and leased two DC-8-63s for trans-Atlantic charters. The charters only lasted a few years and this DC-8 went to Nationair at the end of 1985. Unfortunately, the Quebecair name also passed into history by the end of 1986.

Delivered to Canadian Pacific January 17, 1968, the "Empress of Tokyo" really stands out in the snowscape. CP Air sold the aircraft to Worldways Canada in 1983 and was flown until they ceased flying in 1990. Aerolease Financial bought it in 1991 and converted the stretch eight to a freighter. Air Transport International operated the aircraft for Burlington Air Express in BAX colors and ATI colors until put into storage at Marana, Arizona in 2003.

This 707 was originally delivered to American Airlines August 24, 1959 as N7519A christened "Flagship Kentucky". Sold to Transavia March 1972, they operated it, including a couple of leases to Royal Air Maroc and Saudia Arabian Airlines before selling the jetliner to Guy American Airways in April 1982. Also doing business as American Overseas Airways, it was registered N519GA but was sold back to Boeing a year later as noise regulations were getting more strict and Boeing was in the market for parts in the KC-135E program. It was flown to Davis Monthan and broken up for parts.

This 747 leased from Aer Lingus carried a non-standard color scheme. Delivered to EI March 18, 1971, British Airways leased it from March 1976 to May 1981 which included a short transfer to Bristish Caledonian when their DC-10 delivery was delayed. Air Canada loved the DC-9, but this freighter was only around for a relatively short time. Originally delivered to Overseas National Airways November 11, 1967, Air Canada bought it in May 1973. AC sold it to Southern Airwaws in October 1977 to revert to it's original registration, N932F. Merged into North Central Airlines to form Republic, the DC-9 was again sold, this time to the US Navy. With Bu number 163036 it became the "City of Philadelphia" and was finally struck off strength July 15, 2003. It was moved to NAS Fort Worth in Texas for ground training.
