The Swifts (Russian: Стрижи, romanized: Strizhi) is an aerobatic demonstration team of the Russian Air Force which was formed on 6 May 1991. The team performed at the Oulu International airshow with four MiG-29 (coded 43 (as pictured), 44, 46, 48) and two MiG-29UBs (coded 33, 34). Unfortunately, the c/n's of the MiGs remain unknown to me (anyone??)

In a splendid condition, this oldy, first flight 20 December 1974, delivered as 1002 to the Royal Oman Air Force on 29 January 1975, this BAC One-Eleven was a true highlight at the RIAT 2007. The aircraft was re-serialled to 552 and was withdrawn from use on 10 March 2009. It was moved to the Masirah fire training school, that was not good news for the aircraft.

That's how you do a take-off, close together, full afterburner! F3 ZE168 made its first flight on 31 October 1986 and was delivered the RAF and assigned to 229 OCU on 18 November 1986. It served most F3 squadrons within the RAF and made its last flight on 24 March 2011 from Leuchars to Leeming. It was then stored at Leeming and eventually scrapped by March 2015. Its cockpit section was saved, which was sold to a private owner on Isle of Wight. That section them moved to Jet Art at Thorpe Wood by September 2016. Last reported as sold to a private owner in North Yorkshire.

This marvelous looking Brazilian Herc participated in the static display of the RIAT 2007. The aircraft is here seen, just before its long leg back home. The aircraft was delivered to the Brazilian Air Force in November 1968, was modified with Search and Rescue equipment and redesignated to SC-130E in 1988. De difference is clearly seen as it has a window in side door. The workhore was withdrawn from use on 31 October 2016. Initially stored at Galeão air base (Brazil) and then sadly sold for scrap on 17 May 2017.
