Delivered to Air France as F-BVPF in 1975. To Sterling Airways as OY-SBR in February 1980. Later to Aalborg Airtaxi. Last flight was on 29 December 2004. WFU at Aalborg and registration cancelled on 30 August 2007.

Another Orion Airways summer lease this time in Air Belgium colour scheme. Originally owned by ILFC and delivered to Air Belgium on 20 Mar 1981 as OO-RVM. Later to TF-VLK before returned to OO-RVM. Leased to Orion Airways as G-BKMS from 1 March 1983 to 10 October 1983 and again in 1984. Later registrations for this aircraft were N143AW, VR-HYZ, TC-JUS, HA-LEH, LY-GPA, UR-BVZ, UN-B3705, N453LS and finally PK-YTG with Metro Batavia. Last noted stored at CGK on 11 May 2016.

Built in 1982 and delivered as G-BKHK on 16 August 1982. Reregistered to G-OSAM on 23 November 1982. Operated by R.S.M. Holdings at the time of this photo. Later registered as N700BA, N94BA, N81HH, N8KG and N45KG. Still current in 2023.

This aircraft was acquired from Martin Baker Aircraft Ltd and is still in their colour scheme complete with ejection seat style warning symbol on the tail. Built as 43-48359 for the USAAF but immediately transferred to the RAF as KJ836. To the UK civil register as G-APML on 17 Apr 1958 with Transair. Transferred to Martin Baker Aircraft Ltd 29 Aug 1958. She was acquired by Air Atlantique on 6 Jul 1981. WFU and stored at Coventry CVT in May 1996. Scrapped Sep 1998.

Seen on a foggy day at East Midlands. Delivered new to Maersk as OY-APJ on 17 January 1979. Leased to Malaysian Airlines as 9M-MBZ, then Dan Air as G-BKAP. Leased to Orion from 01 November 1983 to 31 October 1984 in this hybrid colour scheme. This aircraft later flew as PP-SNO, PT-WBA, EI-CGZ, UR-BFA and PK-RIF. Noted stored at CGK on 27 February 2006 and later scrapped.

Our company Argosy looking in need of a good repaint which it eventually did into Elan colours. This plane did the overnight Shannon service. I got a jump seat flight on it. We had to climb up a ladder to get on the flight deck. On the way to Shannon we had St Elmo's Fire on the wind screen. Delivered to Riddle Airlines as N6502R on 5 Jan 1961. To Capitol Airways 1 Jul 1962 and Zantop Air Transport 1 Sep 1965. To N895U with Universal Airlines on 21 Sep 1966. Sold to Sagittair 28 Feb 1972. Bought by Fields Aircraft Services 28 Mar 1977 as G-BEOZ. To ABC Aug 1979. WFU at EMA Mar 1986 and preserved at EMA Aeropark.

Delivered new to Aer Lingus on 21 February 1958 as EI-AJK. She spent a short spell on lease in Switzerland as HB-ILR in 1969-71. She came on to the UK register in July 1973 as G-BBDK and moved around various operators before BAF acquired her on 07 September 1983. To British World as G-OPFE on 27 October 1994. Operated by Air Bridge Carriers on behalf of Elan. Delivered new to the Royal Malaysian Air Force on 17 Jan 1964 as FM1022. Sold to BAF - British Air Ferries as G-BEYF on 15 Aug 1977. It spent time on lease with various companies over the years including Occidental Oil, Libyan Arab Airlines, TNT-IPEC of which Elan was a part. Bought by Channel Express Apr 1988. Last flight 9 Apr 1999 at BOH and WFU. This was the last ever Herald flight. Preserved at Bournemouth Air Museum then scrapped 30 Jun 2008 with the cockpit being preserved.

One of many biz jets based at EMA by JC Bamford over the years. Delivered new to East Midlands by 20 Apr 1981. Sold to Maersk Air as OY-MPA on 14 Dec 1983. To France as F-GODB on 31 Jul 1993. On to Switzerland as HB-VLC Oct 1994. Sold to the USA as N795A 16 Aug 1996. Onwards to Mexico as XA-LUN on 14 Jul 2011. Noted WFU at San Pedro Sula La Mesa on 17 June 2023 looking very dirty.

This aircraft operated mail flights on behalf of Datapost who's colours it is in. Delivered new to Air Ecosse as G-CHEV in December 1978. Re-registered to Euroflight as G-BKWB on 18 July 1983. It went through various UK operators before being registered G-OEAB with Euroair on 06 January 1994. Later to Knight Air then transferred to Holland as PH-FVB with Fairlines on 10 August 1996. Back to the UK as G-OBFL on 27 November 1998 with Comed Aviation. C of A expired on 12 December 2001 and noted being broken up at Southend on 22 December 2002.

Delivered new to BMA as G-BMAR on 23 Mar 1984 so only a month old when this photo was taken. Various leases to Manx Airlines, Loganair and Cityflyer Express. To British Regional Airlines 27 Jan 1997 and to BAC Express 18 Dec 1998. Sold to Pacific Coastal Airlines in Canada as C-GPCJ on 28 Apr 1999. To the USA as N688AN with Business Air on 23 Nov 2005 and transferred to Air Cargo Carriers on 07 Jan 2008. Still current in 2023.

Delivered to the RAF on 21 May 1959 as XM575. Its last flight was on 21 August 1983 to East Midlands on delivery to the Loughborough and Leicestershire Air Museum. It was due to be registered G-BLMC but n.t.u. Ii became part of the East Midlands Aeropark in 1987.

Delivered to the Royal Navy as XK896 on 17 April 1956. Stored at Kemble on 11 May 1981. To the UK civil register as G-RNAS on 16 November 1982. To the Filton dump in October 1998. Submerged at the National Diving Centre, Tidenham in June 2006.

Delivered to the RAF on 30 April 1953 and sold on 12 April 1976. Registered as G-BHDD on 18 October 1979 to the Loughborough and Leicester Aircraft Museum which eventually became the East Midlands Aeropark. Its civil registration was not cancelled by the CAA until 21 November 2009.

Delivered new to BEA on 16 May 1958. It went through various UK operators as G-AOYP before becoming G-PBFT with British World Airlines on 06 April 1993. Sold to Heli-Lift in Johannesburg where it arrived on 26 May 1997. Stored by 2001, it was scrapped on 20 April 1996 with the front part going to a restaurant.

Delivered new to East African Airways as VP-KTK on 16 January 1964. To BMA as G-BMAU on 01 October 1983. Crashed on the approach to EMA on 18 January 1987 while on a training flight. The 3 crew onboard survived.

Delivered new to Air Malta as 9H-ABA on 11 March 1983. it flew with Air Malts until 1994. Still current in 2023 as HR-MRZ with AVIATSA in a lovely Basking Shark special paint scheme.

Delivered new to TWA as N1057T on 11 October 1966. acquired by BMA as G-BMAB on 28 November 1979. Its last operator was Intercontinental Colombia flying as HK-3958. The airline was grounded on 10 June 2004. The aircraft was last noted WFU in a hangar at BOG on 24 April 2009.
