First flown 10 March 1968 and delivered new to Varig as PP-VDT in 1968. In September 1975 it was bought by Fred Olsen as LN-FOM for operating on behalf of the Norwegian CAA as calibration aircraft replacing the old CV-340 LN-FOF. August 1996 to West Air Sweden as SE-LEY. Withdrawn from use and broken up for spares in 2001. Seen on final approach for arriving rw 24, in September 1991

Olsen August 20th 1973, and rr to LN-FOH August 28th 1973. Op. by FOF in ex Nordic colours until repainted to FOF colours second half of 1974. Repainted to these new white FOF colours in 1985. March 1988 it was painted black for the "Air de Cologne" project by SAS Cargo.. FOF colours 1990, flew with TNT stickers in 1990 and 91, FOF cs until wfu 01-1997. OE-ILA 03-1998, C-GLBA 07-2007.

Delivered to Wustern Air Lines as L-188A N9745C in 1961. Converted to an L-188A(F) freighter in 1969. To International Jetair as CF-IJC then back to Western Air Lines as N9745C in 1971. To Nordic Air as LN-MOD in 1972 then to Fred Olsen as LN-FOG in 1973 and Atlantic Airlines as G-LOFD in 1997. To Conair as C-FYYJ in 2010 and converted to a fire bomber then to Buffalo Airways in 2023.

Delivered to Western Air Lines as N9746C in 1961. Converted to a freighter in 1969. Sold as CF-IJJ then N5767 and back to Western Air Lines as N9746C in 1971. To Nordic Air as LN-MOI in 1972 then to Fred Olsen as LN-FOH on 1973, Amerer Air as OE-ILA in 1998 and Buffalo Airways as C-GLBA in 2007. Withdrawn from use at Red Deer, AB by 2014. Still there in 2024.

LN-FOI was one of the three first FOF Electras, and became the only one to wear FOF colours the whole period it was operated by the airline from 1973 until the end in 1997. It is seen on final approach rwy 24 this Saturday morning in August 1989.

LN-FOI was the last of the three Electras to be repainted late 1986. LN-FOI kept these colours until wfu at Fornebu in 1997 when Fred. Olsen ceased operations ending an airline that started operating in 1946.

One of the delicious ideas of SAS Cargo, to paint one of FOFs Electars in black and call it "Air de Cologne" just to mark Cologne as a new hub for Cargo operaions.
