Reconfigured to freighter as 5N-AFT for Pan African 1965, Air America N1535 1969, Saber Air 9V-BCI 1970, Fragtflug TF-OAE 1972. Struck trees 6 May 1974 during visual turn on night approach to Nuremberg and crashed with loss of three crew. Investigation findings were poor general technical state, engine and instrument failure, probable exceeding of max gross weight, icing and an alcoholized captain. In Saber Air colours.

Seen Taxiing for departure from FLL. on July 31, 1973, this aircraft crashed short of the runway at Boston Logan Airport, KBOS, with the loss of 88 lives.

Photographed from an Islander on approach, Efogi is a typical Papua New Guinea airstrip. Efogi is on the famous Kokoda Track, a major attraction for visiting Australian tourists.

This Victa Airtourer 115 was first registered as ZK-CMB, c/n 151, in 1965. After a crash, it was rebuilt by AESL, and delivered to Air Pacific in Fiji as VQ-FBD. Fiji country prefix changed to DQ in 1971. The c/n was changed to R151 after the rebuild. [#ATR151] Photo via Tony Arbon.
