The Aer Lingus run to East Midlands was normally done by an Aer Lingus Commuter SD330 or SD360. Delivered new to Aer Lingus as EI-ANH on 09Sep1965. WFU and stored at Shannon Mar1991. Leased to Hold Air of Nigeria as 5N-HTB on 29Aug1992. Had an accident Feb2002 and presumed WFU. Seen stored at Kaduna Jan2004.

This was at the height of the miners strike and there were a number of charters into EMA bringing police officers from various parts of the UK to police the picket lines of the coal mines in the Midlands. To the KC-135 spares programme and broken up Tucson in 1991.

During a squadron rotation with the RAF 56sq, four Aeronautical Militare F-104S of Grosseto air base were present. Not the very best picture, as it was typical UK weather. This MM6930, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia was delivered in 1978 and got extra fame in 2003 by the 999-Ducati colourscheme. The Sparrow eventually was retired in October 2004, and preserved at Gioia del Colle from March 2018.

Note, the small unusual 1 added to the code. This MM6778, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia The Sparrow was written off at Leeuwarden air base (the Netherlands) on 2 May 2002 during its landing. The aircraft was probably too high duyring its landing attemped, broke in two pieces and came to rest alongside the runway. The pilot escaped with only minor injuries.

This MM6722, built by Fiat Aviazione/Aeritalia was delivered to to Italian Air Force in 1978 and was retired in 2002. It was noted at the dump of Grazzanise in the fall of 2004. The fuselage of the aircraft was attached to the tail of MM6936 and the Starfighter was the preserved as MM6939 at Lecce air base (Italy).

This F1 made its first flight on 12 January 1960. The aircraft started with 74sq/C in August 1960 and subsequently flew with 226 OCU , the Wattisham TTF and became the star of the official RAF fighter display in 1969 and 1970 and became 8411M as a decoy / instructional airframe at Wattisham from 1981, was used as a target at the DTEO Pendine Ranges and then scrapped by March 1994.

Used as a decoy at the RAF base. This F1 made its first flight on 7 April 1960. The aircraft had several Cat.3 damages during its operational career, including lossing a fin and rudder while in flight. It was placed at Wattisham as 8412M and was eventually scrapped by March 1994.
