Delivered new to Helikopter Service in December 1975, LN-OSY was leased to Grønlandsfly as OY-HDS between January 1989 and July 1990. Then in March 1993 it was leased to Helicsa for operation by the Spanish Coast Guard. Seen here at Helikopter Service's Forus facility a few days before the delivery flight.

Certified by CASA (CAA) in 1991, the Jabiru LSA 55/2K quickly established Jabiru Aircraft as one of the leaders in the quickly emerging international LSA market. Strong, docile and easily maintainable, the type was factory built and suited to flight training. This early example used by the Bundy Flying School was powered by the Italian engine manufacturer (IAME-KFM112M) who advised shortly after certification that it was ceasing aircraft engine manufacture. The KFM engine and the Jabiru aircraft had been developed around this engine, so Jabiru designed and built their own powerplant.

Minimal change in paint scheme since leaving the Aer Lingus fleet, where it had been EI-BVM.
