Docked at its Lac du Bonnet base. Delivered new to the US Army in 1958 as 57-6124. Saw active service in Vietnam with the 18th Aviation Company. Became N2750 in 1971. Joined Keewatin Air of Winnipeg, MB as C-GKYG in 1981. Subsequently served with a number of Canadian operators. Converted to the Polish PZL 1000 piston engine by Eagle Aviation in 1994. Further converted to Walter M601 turbine power in 2003.

Moored at its Selkirk Air base on the Red River. With the US Army from new in 1959 as 58-1700, until retirement in 1973. Became C-GCDX in 1974. Flew with Bearskin Lake Air Service from 1980 until blown into the bush by windstorm while undergoing maintenance in 1986. Bought and rebuilt by Allen Airways. In 1996 joined Selkirk Air and was converted to Polish PZL-100 power. Note that in this shot it is fitted, unusually for a PZL, with a three-bladed propeller possibly from a DC-3. Joined Bald Mountain Air Service of Homer, AK in 2008 as N413JP. Then to a Garrett powered Texas Turbine in 2011.

Repainted with a huge Walleye fish mural over the winter of 2018.

Originally US Navy 144674 1958- 66, this Otter was among six that operated in the Antarctic for Operation Deep Freeze. It was transferred to the Army National Guard with hybrid serial 0-4674 before service with the Civil Air Patrol as N5348G in 1977. Bought by Sioux Narrows Airways in 1978, it became C-GGSL. Converted with the Polish PZL-1000 engine in 1990, it was acquired by Pipestone Air in 2005 supporting Pipestone Fly-In Outposts. This striking Walleye mural scheme was airbrushed over the winter of 2018 / 19.

Delivered new to the US Army in 1959 and imported in 1974. Here it is in operations with Selkirk Air, but retains the basic livery of former owner Bearskin Lake Air Service. In 2008 in was exported as N413JP, based at Homer/AK and later converted to Texas Turbine.

Originally delivered to the US Army in 1958 and imported into Canada in 1981. Here it is in operations with Silver Pine Air Service and has a 1000 h.p PZL ASz-62 IR engine in place of the original P&W R-1340. It has since been converted to Walter Turbine and is based at Lac du Bonnet/MB in 2022.

Delivered new in 1953 as the first Otter for the Ontario Provincial Air Service (OPAS), where it served for 32 years. Sold to Green Airways Ltd, Red Lake, Ontario in 1985. Re-engined with the Polish PZL 1,000 hp engine by Airtech Canada in early 1995. Seen here at home at Green Airways docks.

Delivered new to Eastern Provincial Airways in November 1958 as CF-LEA. Later with Labrador Airways and Cargair before joining Green Airways at Red Lake, Ontario in July 1980. Converted with the more powerful Polish PZL 1000hp engine in 1996 and sold to Excellent Adventures Outposts & Air Service Ltd of Ear Falls, Ontario in July 2016. Sold to Clarks Air Service of Vermillion Bay, Ontario in 2018 and current with them at time of upload.

Since this photo was taken, the ugly PZL engine has been removed and replaced with a Garrett turbine and four bladed prop. Another Texas Turbines conversion

This Otter was converted to Texas Turbine and is now operating in Alaska at N413JP with Bald Mountain Air Services

Originally delivered to the Ontario Provincial Air Service - Department of Lands & Forests at Sault Ste Marie, Ontario as CF-ODJ 8 May 1953. The 1,000 hp Polish PZL engine has now been removed.

Originally delivered to the Ontario Provincial Air Service - Department of Lands & Forests at Sault Ste Marie, Ontario as CF-ODJ 8 May 1953. It was fitted with a 1,000 hp Polish PZL engine by Airtech Canada at Peterborough, Ontario in February 1995 and a four bladed propeller was then installed. Re-registered to Excellent Adventures Outposts & Air Service Ltd 26 September 2017.

DHC-3 Otter, C-GGSL is seen tied to the dock on the Red River at the Selkirk Air Seaplane Base, Selkirk Manitoba. The aircraft is operated by Pipestone Air Inc. Pipestone Air is a small carrier that operates out of Emo, Ontario.
