Built for Pan Am as N798PA but went to Continental Airlines as N17321 in 1964. To China Airlines as B-1832 in 1973 then to Allen Aircraft Corporation as N987AA in 1985. To DAS Air Cargo as 5X-DAR in 1986. Crashed on approach to Kano in 1992.

Delivered the USAF as C-131E 57-2549 then transferred to the FAA as N102 in 1957. Converted to a CV580 in 1961. Reregistered as N92 in 1972. To Tarrant County Junior College as a ground trainer at Fort Worth-Meacham, TX in 1996. Cancelled from the register in 2001. To Universal Airlines as N8099S in 2004 and flown to Abbotsford, BC. Registered to Conair as C-FJVD in 2006. Still there in 2014.

Modified Chipmunk. Delivered to the RCAF as 18055 in 1956. Sold in 1964 and registered as CF-RST then N1PN and N320HP. Destroyed in a crash while landing at Claremore, OK in 1987.

Delivered in 1967 wearing the solid pastel "Turquoise" colours and after repainted in the "Panagra Yellow" colours. B/U as OB-1512 with Americana de Aviacion. slide by Charles E. Stewart. - FAA's N84 was re-registerd to N44 in 1987. Unfortunately, it crashed in Pennsylvania a year later. Major ice parts entered the engine intakes during flight, both engines flamed out and could not be restarted.

slide by Charles E. Stewart. - One of the few jet Commanders that survived. In 1982, N721GB was sold to Israel as 4X-COA and was converted for use as a testbed aircraft. Withdrawn from service, it was placed on display in a museum at Hatzerim, Israel, seen there in 2021.

Built in July 1934 as part of an order for launch customer TWA, it was soon disposed of as the DC-3 became available to them and was purchased by Braniff. Photo taken at what is probably the site of the current Oklahoma City airport. It then passed to the US War Department as 42-61096 but was deregistered on 4 May 1943. It was operated by Aerovias Brazil until a landing accident at Lagoa Santa on 5 February 1947 damaged the aircraft beyond repair. (Unknown Photographer)

Delivered on July 2, 1935, to Braniff at what is probably the site of the current Oklahoma City airport. A few years later it was sold to Boston & Maine Airways re registered as NC242. By the late 1940s, "1030" had been sold to Wisconsin Air Central re-registered NC842. "1030" was then sold to Cordova Air Service in Alaska and registered N842 on 6 February 1952. From a 1937 image showing one of the Braniff Airlines fleet at what is probably the site of the current Oklahoma City airport. Although the registration letters are mostly obscured, this is also most certainly Lockheed Vega NC12288 (later N12288). Constructed in March 1933 by ex-employees of the bankrupt Detroit Aircraft who had purchased a majority interest in Lockheed in 1929. The aircraft was originally owned by Morrell Meat Packing Company but was modified for Braniff use. It later passed to other owners and was later wrecked. The remains were recovered and restored to flying condition.
