There is a question mark hanging over the c/n for this aircraft. Conflicting evidence suggests that there may have been two DC-3s registered XA-JIH to Aerovias Oaxaquenas within a short period of time. One was c/n 4225 and the other c/n 9904. I cannot find any other information on c/n 4225 other than it was reportedly registered to Oaxaquenas in Sep 79. The c/n 9904 frame was previously with Basler as N138H and records indicate that the US registration was cancelled in Jan 80 as "exported to Mexico". If anyone has more definitive information, please contact me.
