This Suisei (Comet - Allied reporting name 'Judy') was recovered engineless from Babo Airfield, Indonesia in 1991 and has been restored/rebuilt by the Planes of Fame Museum to a non-flying, ground-running, display condition. A non-original radial engine has been installed so as a result the cowling profile is not quite accurate. More than 2000 'Judy's were produced and only this example and one original in Japan have survived.

The cockpit pod of this P-38 is on display at the Planes of Fame Museum at Valle.

This venerable old Avenger was delivered to the Navy in Nov. 42 and served in the Pacific on board USS Enterprise, USS Saratoga and with VF-12 on Guadalcanal. She was SOC in July 1945 and became a Hollywood film prop before being acquired by Yanks in 1980. She is now undergoing restoration, part of which included removing lots of Japanese 27 mm bullets from her tail!.

The Boeing Model 15 Hawk was produced in two series with 'FB' being the Naval version. This FB-5 was delivered to the US Navy as A-7104 but has been restored and is now on display at the Planes of Fame museum as A-7126.

This Colt was previously HA-AND and is now parked at the Planes of Fame Museum in this pseudo-Soviet AF scheme as '05 yellow'.

After finishing its time with the Marines this F7F moved between the USMC museum at Quantico, the NNAM at Pensacola and the Yankee Air Force Museum at Willow Run before ending up at the Planes of Fame Museum at Chino. Currently displayed outside in this unrestored condition.

This T-33 is on display at the very friendly Planes of Fame Museum at Valle in false JASDF markings. It is in fact ex USAF 53-5341.

This Corsair was formerly BuNo 17799 but is now part of the Planes of Fame collection at Chino.

This Zero was built in 1942 and operated from Buna airfield, PNG by the Tainan Kokutai. The right wing was torn off during a bad landing and so the remaning airframe was abandoned. After the war the hulk was shipped to Brisbane and the rear fuselage used to build a composite Zero for testing. Somehow the rear fuselage has survived and is now on display at the Planes of Fame museum.

This unmarked F.2 is on display at the very friendly Planes of Fame Museum at Valle.

This rare Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat awaits restoration.

This aircraft, named Bataan, was the personal aircraft of General Douglas McArthur during the early 1950's. After retirement from the USAF in 1966, it flew with NASA as NASA422 and later N422NA until 1969 when it was flown to the US Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker, Alabama. It was purchased by the Planes of Fame Museum in 1994 and completely restored. Acquired by Lewis Air Legends and flown to Chino, CA in January 2016. Lewis plans on putting the aircraft on the airshow circuit after completion of a comprehensive restoration at Chino.

US Air Force 44-74908 was sold to the RCAF January 1951. It was put into storage at Winnipeg, MB after being damaged in a belly landing in 1956. Sold to the USA as N1070Z in 1959 although it was eventually repaired to flying status in Winnipeg. Eventually to Robert Pond/Planes of Fame East 1980 and moved to the Palm Springs Air Museum with the same owner in 1997. Restored with new markings and a standard P-51D tail with Red Tail Squadron livery.
