After Laker's collapse, B.Cal acquired a pair of their DC-10s to serve European leisure routes. The pair differed from B.Cal's DC-10-30 fleet in having a grey lower fuselage. They later appeared with "B C A Charter" titles and after that passed to Cal Air in 1985.

Arrow Air used a variety of types for their passenger charters to Gatwick in 1973. This DC-8-73 was acquired by Arrow in May 1983, and had very quickly been re-registered as N919JW by the time I saw it again at Gatwick on 10th July.
