Built 1974 as a Tu-154, later converted to Tu-154B standard. Operated until it was damaged when it ran off runway at Varna in May 1992. Balkan flew regular weekly flights from Varna to Gardemoen, but in 1989 GEN was closed for work on the runway surface, so Charter flights came to FBU from May 2nd to September 15th in 1989

New airline formed in February 1994 on the ruins of the old Sterling Airways. 4 of the original 727s were kept, and this one entered service in May 1995, showing the blue colours replacing the red colours of the former airline. First flight June 27th 1979 and delivered new to Singapore Airlines as 9A-SGG. July 10th 1979. April 1982 TI-LRQ for LACSA, rr N200LR December 1987 LACSA. August 1994 N200LR Capitol Air Express, leased for a few months. May 12th 1995 OY-SCC Sterling European Airlines. January 1999 N317NE, September 1999 N727NK rr. Op by diff. carriers until stored in Florida April 2023
