Quebecair's first turbine airliner was this F-27. Delivered September 17, 1958, it would be sold to Horizon Air as that airline expanded into larger aircraft post de-regulation. Registered N273PH, the aircraft was traded to De Havilland Canada in January 1986 in part payment for new Dash 8s. Later with Airlift International as N273RD, it was wrecked at Miami by Hurricane Andrew on August 24, 1992.

Former NLM Cityhopper PH-KFC was sold to Air Botswana as A2-ADG. PH-KFC was de-registered early September 1981, so this picture must have been taken shortly prior.

Registered N2716R to Fairchild Aircraft In 1969, this F-27 was delivered first to IBM - International Business Machines on March 29, 1961. Withdrawn in 1970, the aircraft was sold to the Province of Quebec and registered CF-PQH on April 23, 1971. The registration format was changed to C-FPQH in 1975 and it was in the province's fleet until 2000. Sold to Trygon Ltd and registered 3C-QQA, the aircraft went to Southend before delivered to Aerolineas SOSA as HR-ASR in September 2001. Withdrawn circa 2006, it was last known stored at Coronel Hector Caraccioli Moncada airport at La Ceiba , Honduras.

spent all her life in Mexico - having been delivered to the Secretaria de Obras Publicas in 1971 as XC-SOP, she became XC-UTB with the Estados Unidos Mexicanas before joining Aerocaribe in 1988. photographer unknown

TAT used the same colour scheme but in a number of different colours in the 1970s. Test reg PH-FEU before delivery to All Nippon Airways as JA8618 in 1963. To TAT as F-BUTA in 1973 then to Air Guadeloupe as F-OGIF in 1978. Back to TAT as F-BSIF then to Air UK as G-BHMW in 1980. Stored at Norwich from 1995. To WDL as D-BAKK in 1998 and used for parts as Essen. Scrapped in 1999.

Airlines of NSW started flying from Sydney to Corryong following the opening of the new airport. Initially three times weekly as an extension of services to Cooma. In 1966 the frequency was twice weekly with flights routed via Wagga Wagga. It later became a connecting service, with sister airline Ansett-ANA flying the Corryong-Wagga using F27s. Registered as PH-FCX before delivery to Turk Hava Yollari as TC-TEK in 1961. To Fokker in 1975 and converted to a series 100MAR Maritime Patrol version. Used as a demonstrator. To KLM as a ground trainer at Schiphol in 1985. Preserved at the Aviodome, Schiphol from 1988. To PS Aero at Baarlo by 2003 then to a private owner in Hoogerheide in 2017 and used as a Bed and Breakfast Hotel.

Registered PH-FGT to Fokker 2nd June 1965 and made its first flight the following day. Delivered to Balair as HB-AAV 11th June 1965 and became PH-KFD with NLM Cityhopper 6th March 1972. Returned to Fokker 20th May 1990 and after a few years of storage went to SASA as LV-WEL 16th Dec 1993. Withdrawn from use at Buenos Aires (SAEZ) Dec1996.

Not to be confused with F-27 c/n 10137 that used the same registration from 1983 to 1994.
