This aircraft was destroyed on 17th July 1982 whilst it was parked at Old Warden when Beech Musketeer G-AYWS crashed upon it whilst taking off and both were consumed in the ensuing fire, sadly the 2 occupants of the Musketeer were killed. Thankfully the Fox Moth was the subject of an epic restoration by Ben and Jan Cooper at the Newbury Aeroplane Company and is now based in Germany with the Luftraum Sud collection at Aalen.

This VH-UVL has been given the same constructor's number as the original Fox Moth VH-UVL. That aircraft was impressed into the RAAF during World War II and scrapped in New Guinea in 1943. The new VH-UVL uses a fuselage made in New Zealand in the 1990s but has been registered as c/n 4015.

One of Tony Haig-Thomas's collection of airworthy de Havilland Moth types arriving. Later repainted in a black and gold colour scheme. Struck by Musketeer G-AYWS at Old Warden on 17th July 1982 and destroyed by fire. This prompted the closing of the cross-runway to visiting aircraft. The remains were subsequently recreated by Ben Cooper and the aircraft was resident in Germany in 2022.

Painted in the markings it wore in 1935 as the first a/c in New Zealand licensed to carry passengers. After a long life there, it was brought to the U.S. circa 1974. In this slide it does not have a FAA registration number displayed on it. It was registered as N83DH in 1975. In 1984 it was exported to the U.K. as G-ADHA. Exported back to N.Z. in 1997 as ZK-ADI, its original reg. in 1935. Currently located at the Croyden Aviation Heritage Center.
