This aircraft was delivered new to Eastern Airlines in February 1959 but leased out to Air Operations International, who reportedly operated it for the US Navy, in January 1977. It was registered to the Van Nuys-based Gulfstream American Corporation in March 1981, but cancelled in February 1983 when it was sold as PK-RLH to Mandala Airlines, who operated it until September 1989 when it was withdrawn from use at Jakarta. In July 1995 its remains were purchased by the Canadian air tanker operator Air Spray to provide parts to support its Electra fleet.

This former Eastern Airlines Electra was one of 23 operated by Zantop. The airline expanded their international reach by contracting out to other airlines. M343HA spent some time with Channel Express before Zantop wound down and returned their certificate to the FAA. The aircraft was picked up by Air Spray in Canada in 2012 to become C-GOIZ and used for parts.

VH-RMA seen here in a modified livery that was applied following changes to improve comfort to passenger. Ansett-ANA's modified aircraft were marketed as Electra Mk.II and the livery changes to reflect that these modifications are not to be confused with the more extensive changes made to Electras after two disintegrated in flight due to whirl mode. slide from Russell Brown. - Electra c/n 1129 was sold to Europe in 1991 and flew for Air Bridge, Hunting Cargo and Atlantic Airlines as G-FIJV. Retired at Coventry in 2007, it was broken up six years later.

Western Airlines flew this Electra (N7143C) from May 1961, converting it to a freighter in 1969. Bought by Calgary based International Jetair in 1971, it would be Northwest Territorial's first Electra when the two carriers merged in 1976.

Delivered to Eastern Airlines as N5505 in 1958. To SAM Colombia as HK-1274 in 1971. Returned to Eastern Airlines as N5585 then N5505 and N5505C then to American Jet Industries and stored at Mojave in 1977. They merged into Gulfstream American in 1979. Used for parts at Mojave. Remains still there in 1999. Later scrapped.
