Note the Olympiatoppen sticker by the door. Olympiatoppen is responsible for training Norway's elite athletes. Braathens was their sponsor in the late 1980s/early 1990s. LN-BUC was delivered new to Braathens SAFE 15 September 1994, repainted to Braathens colours in 1998. To SAS Braathens in 2004 and SAS Norge (identified by carrying only the Norwegian flag not all three flags). To SAS October 2009 until withdrawn from use at the end of 2012. Bought by Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services at parted out at Knock, Ireland by 2015.

Braathens SAFE sold and leased back its 737-200s as part of the fleet renewal in 1989 when the airline ordered 737-400s and -500s. LN-SUJ became N891FS still sporting the last letter of the registration on the nose wheel door. Note also the Olympiatoppen sticker by the door. Confusingly, Braathens SAFE operated two 737-205s registered LN-SUA. The first was a -205C between 1971 and 1984. The second was a -205 between 1986 and 1993. This is the second of the pair seen in the second 737 livery with the red stripe below the windows. This modification to the livery was introduced with the introductuon of the 737-505.

As Braathens SAFE replaced their 737-200 fleet with -400s and -500s, the -200s were sold and leased back. LN-SUH/N7031A was named Sigurd Jorsalfar between 1976 and 1992 when it was renamed Håkon den gode. The integral air stairs of the -200s made them efficient at smaller airports with quick turn-around times and requiring less ground support than their successors.
